Effective 5:00 p.m. Central time (CT), tomorrow, Tuesday January 10, the new CME Market Data Platform Lite Channel will be available for testing in the CME certification environment.

As previously announced, CME is launching the CME Market Data Platform Lite Channel in the CME production environment in Q1 2006. The Lite Channel decreases bandwidth requirements for customers who receive RLC market data via the CME Market Data Platform by utilizing intelligent filters to control message quantity. Customers will be able to receive CME futures market data on a T1 connection via the Lite Channel without any critical data delays or latencies.
