Dear CME Globex Customers,

Effective today, Wednesday January 4, at 4:00 p.m. Central time, to prepare for the CME Globex Q1 Enhancements launch, CME Eurodollar options on futures contracts will not be available in the CME certification environment. CME Eurodollar options on futures will be available for testing in the CME certification environment on Monday, January 9, 2006.

All other products will be available for testing.

CME is launching the CME Globex Q1 Enhancements, a bundle of product and technological enhancements, in the CME production environment on Sunday, February 19, 2006 (for trade date Monday, February 20). This release includes the following:

• CME market data message changes (mandatory customer certification);
• Ex-Pit transactions;
• Request for Cross (RFC) functionality for CME Eurodollar options on futures; and,
• New spreads for CME Eurodollar options on futures.
  • Conditional Curve
  • Call and Put Doubles Spreads
  • Straddle Strip

The CME Globex Q1 Enhancements feature changes to several CME market data messages. All front-end system providers are required to complete a quick certification to ensure there will be no negative impact. This mandatory certification covers:

• Expanded Instrument Creation (MO (m-oh)) market data message
• New values for the Instrument State (MG) market data message
• New values for the Trade (M6) market data message

The new MO and MG market data message changes are currently available for testing in the CME certification environment and on the CME AutoCert tool for all CME products except CME Eurodollar options on futures.

The new MO, M6, and MG market data message changes for CME Eurodollars options on futures will be available for testing in the CME certification environment this Monday, January 9, 2006.
