Dear CME Globex Customers,

Effective this Sunday, December 18, 2005 (for trade date Monday, December 19), CME FirmSoft 4.1 will be launched in the CME production environment.

CME FirmSoft 4.1 includes the following enhancements:

• Ability to search and sort by contract expiration month and year;
• Ability to schedule daily automated fill reporting directly to your e-mail inbox;
• Enhanced security for CME FirmSoft passwords;
• Ability to query and cancel new RFC orders (scheduled to launch in Q1 2006); and,
• CME FirmSoft Clearing Firm Self-Administration via the CME Portal
  • The CME FirmSoft Administration interface will allow clearing firm-appointed administrators to administer CME FirmSoft access for their employees and customers. CME will work directly with individual clearing firms to phase in the new interface.

Accessing CME FirmSoft 4.1 requires no changes for existing CME FirmSoft users. All existing CME FirmSoft user IDs and passwords remain valid. Any user experiencing access issues should contact the CME Globex Control Center (GCC) at 312.456.2391.
