Dear CME Globex Customers,

To support the rapid growth in trading volume, CME launched the CME Market Data Platform, a new market data distribution system, in July 2005. The CME Market Data Platform currently disseminates all Instrument Creation (MO) messages on the Admin Data Channel (Channel 2) on Sunday start-up and throughout the week for new contracts.

Effective November 13, 2005, to help customers process MO messages for contract definition, MO and Group State Change Marker (MJ) messages for CME Eurodollar options on futures will no longer be disseminated on Channel 2. MO and MJ messages for CME Eurodollar options will instead be disseminated on the CME Eurodollar Options Data Channel (Channel 10). Customers who require MO or MJ messages for CME Eurodollar options will receive them directly from Channel 10.

This change does not impact the distribution of MO messages on the Replay Channel (Channel 1).

The new CME Eurodollar options MO and MJ message dissemination is currently available for testing in the CME certification environment.
