Dear CME^® Globex^® Customers,

On Aug 15, 2005, CME successfully launched Release 1 of the CME Globex Options Enhancements, including CME Eurodollar Options on the Globex platform via CME iLink^®. With this launch, customers who wanted to receive CME Eurodollar options market data had to change network connectivity to new market data boxes.

Effective this Sunday, August 28, in response to customer requests, CME Eurodollar outright options will be made accessible to current CME Market Data API (MD API) customers with a simple subscription change. This subscription change can be made at any time. CME Eurodollar outright options will now be available 23 hours per day.

Please note: CME Globex Trader^TM customers will still not be able to access CME Eurodollar options.

To receive CME Eurodollar outright options in the CME certification environment (in preparation for August 28th launch)

• Add the following subject(s) to your market data application:
  • CMECERT_EO.RLC.*.ZE.> CME Eurodollar Outright Options
  • CMECERT_EO.RLC.*.E0.> CME Eurodollar 1-Year Mid-Curve Options
  • CMECERT_EO.RLC.*.E2.> CME Eurodollar 2-Year Mid-Curve Options
  • CMECERT_EO.RLC.*.E5.> CME Eurodollar 5-Year Mid-Curve Options
• Add the following subject to the Subject Configuration section of your certification RVRD:
  • Import: CMECERT_EO.> CME Eurodollar Outright Options

To receive CME Eurodollar outright options in the CME production environment (effective August 28):

• Add the following subject(s) to your market data application:
  • CME_GB2_EO.V20.*.ZE.> CME Eurodollar Outright Options
  • CME_GB2_EO.V20.*.E0.> CME Eurodollar 1-Year Mid-Curve Options
  • CME_GB2_EO.V20.*.E2.> CME Eurodollar 2-Year Mid-Curve Options
  • CME_GB2_EO.V20.*.E5.> CME Eurodollar 5-Year Mid-Curve Options
• Add the following subject to the Subject Configuration section of your production RVRD:
  • Import: CME_GB2_EO.> CME Eurodollar Outright Options

CME requires at least a 10mb connection, or RVRD compression with a 6mb connection, to receive CME Eurodollar options outright contracts, due to the increased number of contracts, indicatives, and market makers' hard quoting.

To access the full CME Eurodollar options functionality, including enhanced RFQs, strategies, and indicative quotes, ensure your application can support the following functionality:

• An additional 90,000 contracts;
  • These are the additional CME Eurodollar Option strategies.
• Certify on enhanced RFQ message and the related M4 market data message; and,
• Certify on indicative prices via the MX market data message.
