Dear CME^® Globex^® Customers,

CME Market Data API 2.X (MD API) distributes CME market data in two message formats: RLC and ITC 2.1. Customers can receive CME Globex market data with full market depth via RLC messages; or, via ITC 2.1 messages, trading floor, related cash products and CME Globex top of book only market data.

As previously mentioned, as part of the ongoing effort to provide capacity for growing messaging rates on CME MD API 2.X, CME is modifying internal architecture and eliminating CME Globex market data messages in ITC 2.1 format. Customers can still subscribe to trading floor and cash data in ITC 2.1 format. Please refer to the CME MD API 2.X Developer's Guide for more information.

Please note: there is no impact for clients who only subscribe to RLC messages via CME MD API 2.X. Customers who receive market data via the CME Market Data Network (MDN) are not impacted by this change.

These changes are being rolled into the CME production environment over several weekends, completing Sunday, July 24. During this three week migration, CME Globex contracts will be sequentially eliminated from the ITC 2.1 feed.
