Subject GEH5 to Trade in Half Ticks at Market Re-Opening

Dear CME® Globex® Customers,

The technical issue that resulted in the GEH5 and associated spreads to trade in quarter ticks has been resolved. On Monday, January 24, 2005, at approximately 16:45 CT, the GEH5 and associated spreads will be re-set to their normal half tick trading increment. As a result, all orders with quarter tick prices in the GEH5 and associated spreads will be cancelled.

Please note that customers may need to request a retransmission of MO messages after 16:45 CT for this change to take effect. CME recommends that all customers check with their Front End Provider technical support desk to confirm if the tick increment change will automatically take effect or if it will require manual intervention.
