Dear CME Customers,
Effective July 1, 2004, Chicago Mercantile Exchange introduced new, lower monthly customer connectivity fees for CME DIRECTLink
customers who subscribe to higher bandwidth inverse multiplexing over ATM or IMA connections. As trading volume continues
to increase on our GLOBEX platform, CME constantly researches ways to ensure customer bandwidth needs are met. As a result,
lower IMA bandwidth charges are now available for bandwidth options beginning at 3.0 mb. Monthly fees for existing T1 connections
and lower will be maintained at current costs. The new monthly pricing for CME DIRECTLink connections is as follows:

Recently, due to the explosive growth on GLOBEX, minimum bandwidth requirements have increased. In addition, several upcoming
projects will contribute to bandwidth usage, including the addition of implied Eurodollar butterflies and new options traffic.
As a result, CME recommends customers receiving all GLOBEX market data subscribe to bandwidth of 4.5 mb to allow for future
growth.
To upgrade to an IMA connection, existing customers will be required to complete an abbreviated upgrade form, which is attached.
On average, IMA upgrades require a minimum interval of 45 business days. To facilitate a rapid upgrade, please send in your
completed form by July 23, 2004. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your GLOBEX Account Manager at 312.634.8700
or at GLOBEX Account Management.
We look forward to working with you.
Thank you,
Chicago Mercantile Exchange
