Dear GLOBEX Customers,

CME would like to remind its customers that the protection points in the new Market and Stop orders will be expanded from zero to .75* (Price Band Value) after the close of markets on Friday, January 30, 2004. (Price Band Values can be found at www.cme.com/files/bandingSER091003.pdf). Simultaneously, CME will introduce Tag 44 (Price) into iLink 1.0 Broker Accept messages for these new Market and Stop orders.

In anticipation of these changes, Tag 44 for iLink 1.0 will be available in the Certification Environment beginning at 12:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, December 17. CME requests that all iLink 1.0 customers test this functionality prior to the January 30 date.
