Dear CME Globex® Customers,

CME would like to notify you of recent updates to both the CME iLink® and CME Market Data API (MD API) Software Development Kits (SDKs). These updates include:

CME iLink

  • The Developer's Guide, Message Specification and FAQ have been updated to specify that CME iLink users can also submit requests for quotes (RFQs) effective December 19, 2004.
  • The Developer's Guide and Message Specification have been separated into two documents. We now have dedicated Developer's Guides and Message Specifications for both CME iLink 2.0 and CME iTOPS 2.0.
  • The CME AutoCert Guide has been updated to include information on new mandatory tests for CME market makers as well as additional tests created for recent CME Eurodollar implied spread functionality enhancements.

CME Market Data API

  • The Developer's Guide, Message Specification and FAQ have been updated to specify that API users can also submit requests for quotes (RFQs) effective December 19, 2004.
  • The Developer's Guide, Message Specification and FAQ have been updated with additional information related to CME equity options strategies.
  • The CME AutoCert Guide has been updated with additional information related to CME equity options, variable tick tables, and MO messages.
  • The RVRD Guide has been updated with more detailed information related to customer's configuration options, as well as diagrams depicting approved TIBCO configurations.
  • The Developer's Guide has been updated with the new subscription requirements for CME option market data.
