Dear CME® Globex® Customers,
Effective January 9, 2005, in response to customer requests, CME is increasing the order quantity limits for all electronically
traded equity index futures contracts listed on the CME Globex platform. The maximum order size for CME E-miniTM S&P 500® and CME E-mini NASDAQ-100® futures contracts will increase from 400 to 1,500 contracts. All other stock index futures order quantity limits will increase
from 400 to 500 contracts. In addition, the maximum order quantity limit on calendar spreads will increase from 1,000 to 5,000
on all electronically traded equity futures contracts. These order quantity limit increases do not apply to the non-traditional
TRAKRSTM futures products.
The following table indicates the new order quantity limits for CME Globex equity index futures:
