Dear GLOBEX Customers,

CME is pleased to announce a new Software Development Kit (SDK) page on www.cme.com for our iLink and MD API applications.  In the past, customers were limited to downloading our SDKs in their entirety.  Now, customers can download the individual components within each SDK at the following web addresses:

In order to keep our users' documentation up-to-date, CME will send periodic updates informing you of any changes that have been made to each SDK.  Below are the most recent additions/changes:

MD API

1. The Message Specification has been updated to remove "draft" from the title and has been updated to make the MY message mandatory, which is used for EAGLE implied spreading prices.

2. The Certification Test Script has been modified to reflect that the MG (Instrument Status) and the M8 (Theoretical Opening Price) are now mandatory tests due to enhanced Stop Logic being implemented on 9/27/03.

3. The Message Specification has been updated to provide additional description on the MG and the M8 message.

4. The Developer's Guide has been updated to include a section on sequence numbers and time synchronization.

iLink

1. The Certification Test Script has been updated with new tests and verifications:
a. cancel/replace test in section 6.2
b. cancel test in section 6.2

2. Tag 9717 is now verified for business messages sent by the customer.

3. Both the Developer's guide and the Message Specification have been updated to state the requirement for SecurityType (Tag 167) is Y*.
