To All MD API Users,

In an effort to improve dissemination of GLOBEX(R) market data, CME(R) will modify the Market Data History Database, which provides historical data to our users. CME Operations staff has detected processing difficulties when the database receives more than 500 requests.  To mitigate this reliability issue, CME has updated the Market Data History Database Server to bypass one of the internal library files that was causing the intermittent problem.

The modification to the Market Data History Database has been designed to be transparent to users.  The change to the database will be implemented into our Certification Environment on Tuesday, June 17 during our scheduled maintenance window between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. CT.  This change is scheduled to roll into the Production Environment on the evening of Sunday, June 22.
