FirmSoft 3.1 Rollout
Effective upon the commencement of business on Sunday, November 9, 2003, FirmSoft 3.1 will be moved into our production environment. This new version of FirmSoft addresses several major enhancements users have requested during previous FirmSoft focus group meetings and one-on-one interviews.

Following the deployment of FirmSoft 3.1, all existing User IDs and passwords will remain valid.

Seminar
Existing FirmSoft users are invited to attend a demonstration and seminar on FirmSoft 3.1, Friday, November 7, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. and again at 2:00 p.m. Interested users should RSVP via e-mail to Laura Sutor of Client Management at lsutor@cme.com.. Space is limited, so please register early.

Accessing FirmSoft 3.1
Accessing the new version of FirmSoft differs depending upon your existing connectivity method:

For CME portal users, the FirmSoft link from the CME portal page will be redirected to version 3.1 of FirmSoft. No change is required on your part.

For clients who currently use their production connection to GLOBEX(R) (CME DIRECTLink, Client DIRECTLink or Client INTERNETLink), please utilize one of the new FirmSoft URLs below to access FirmSoft 3.1:

(Primary) 204.167.179.16/firmsoft/

(Back-up) 198.212.155.86/firmsoft/
