| CAUSE: On September 18, 2002, at approximately 9:52 AM CT, an Order Management hardware issue resulted in momentarily disconnecting a primary data base server for all iLink customers. RESPONSE: Emergency messages were sent. Most connections were re-established immediately to backup, all customers were confirmed fully connected by 10:00 AM CT. Senior staff was notified and operational staff began the process of monitoring services to all users. GCC staff assisted registered contacts with order status and cancellation requests. RESOLUTION: Developmental specialists will investigate this issue to determine the exact nature of its cause and will then make a recommendation to senior staff on a permanent solution.
