Today, Friday, September 14, 2001 CME is requesting that GLOBEX^�2 users cancel ALL existing GTC and GTD orders currently working at the Host. Any GTC or GTD orders that are remaining in the system will be cancelled by the GCC. Additionally any TOPS / ORAPI / FIX 2.3 orders that are working at the GLOBEX OM (STOP or MIT orders) will also be cancelled.

This is necessary to conduct connectivity testing and mock trading on the GLOBEX^�2 system Saturday, September 15, 2001 between the hours of 10 a.m. CT and 12 p.m. CT. The GLOBEX^�2 Control Center will have a full compliment of staff to assist all users.

Our goal is to insure that all users can connect and trade without issue for Sunday night and Monday morning. On Sunday night after 4:30 p.m. CT GTC and GTD orders may be re-entered in all non-equity products.
