| On Sunday, February 11, 2001, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. will implement the change to its FIX API server that was announced and postponed last week. The change is explained below in the text of the original memo. On Sunday, February 4, 2001, Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. will implement a change to its FIX API server. This change will address the problem that firms occasionally experience when attempting to establish a session to the CME FIX API server. The server will not have completely closed out the previous session and return the error "Invalid ID, ID already logged on". The enhanced FIX API server will allow a client session to completely close before opening a new session.
