CME will launch trading on GLOBEX in futures on the US Consumer Price Index (CPI) this Sunday evening, for business day Monday February 9th.

CBOT will launch trading on e-cbot® in (a) options on Mini Dow futures and (b) futures on the Dow Total Market Index for business day Monday February 9th.

PC-SPAN® Organization Master file parameters are as follows:

As always, you can manually add these records to PC-SPAN's Organization Master file.  Or, if you are using the "expanded-unpacked" Common Clearing Link (CCL) SPAN® file, you can automatically update your PC-SPAN Organization Master file simply by loading the SPAN file into PC-SPAN.  Simply load the February 9th "pa2" file into PC-SPAN, and then select "OK" when you are prompted to save the changes to the Organization Master file.

You can also download the latest Organization Master file from the Internet, at either ftp.cme.com/pub/span/util/orgmast.exe (as a self-extracting ZIP file containing "orgmast.mst"), or at ftp.cme.com/pub/span/util/orgmast-ccl.zip (as an ordinary ZIP file containing "orgmast-ccl.mst".) 

Please note that, now that the CBOT-CME Common Clearing Link is fully implemented, there is no longer any distinction between the original "orgmast.mst" file or the "orgmast-ccl.mst" file.  We recommend that all PC-SPAN users revert to downloading the originally-named Organization Master file "orgmast.exe".  After downloading this file, execute it to extract "orgmast.mst".  Move "orgmast.mst" to PC-SPAN's Master File directory (typically c:\span4\master), then use the "Tools Preferences" command to change the name of the Organization file file from "orgmast-ccl.mst" back to "orgmast.mst".  We will cease publication of the separate "orgmast-ccl" file shortly.
