The CBOT® has extended programs which provide for temporary membership status with respect to specified CBOT contracts as indicated below. 

-        For holders of Series B-4 (IDEM)  Membership status, temporary membership privileges in 100 oz. Gold and 5,000 oz. Silver options through June 30, 2008; 

-        For holders of Series B-5 (COM) Membershp status, temporary membership privileges with respect to covered option spreads (futures/options spreads executed as a single transaction) in 100 oz. Gold and 5,000 oz. Silver contracts through June 30, 2008; and 

-        For CBOT mini-sized Contract Permit Holders pursuant to Rule 129, temporary permit privileges in Rough Rice futures and options through December 31, 2008. 

These programs previously were scheduled to expire as of December 31, 2007. 

Temporary status under these programs will continue to be effective for both open outcry and electronic trading.
