On July 6, 2005 The Andersons Agricultural Group LP notified the Chicago Board of Trade that there had been an explosion at the firm’s Edwin Elevator in Toledo, OH.  This explosion had left the firm unable to physically load out grain from the facility.

The Exchange posted notice that no new registrations would be allowed at this facility until repairs had been made to the elevator and the facility had been re-inspected by the Registrar’s Office.

Repairs to the elevator have been completed and the facility is fully operational.  The Registrar’s Office has inspected and approved this facility to register receipts.
