On July 20, 2006 General Mills Operations, Inc. notified the Chicago Board of Trade that the bridge allowing railcars to be received/shipped for the firm’s Checkerboard Elevator B & Washburn Elevator T had been damaged.

The Exchange posted notice that no new registrations would be allowed at these two facilities until repairs had been made to the bridge and the facilities had been re-inspected by the Registrar’s Office.

Repairs to the bridge have been completed and these facilities are fully operational.  The Registrar’s Office has inspected and approved these facilities to register receipts.
