The Exchange has established a program which temporarily will allow individuals in the IDEM Membership Interest category to trade CBOT Metals options on a member basis in open auction and on the e-cbot^® platform.

Under this program, IDEMs will have membership status with respect to trading in CBOT 100 oz. Gold Options and 5,000 oz. Silver Options.  This temporary privilege will begin on November 6, 2006 and expire on June 30, 2007.
