On Monday, September 11, 2006, in conjunction with other major markets, the CBOT^Ò open auction market will observe two separate one-minute periods of silence in memory of the victims of the events of September 11, 2001.

The minutes of silence will occur at 7:46 a.m. and 9:29 a.m. (Central Time).  Bells will sound on the Exchange Floor to mark the beginning and end of each minute of silence.

The CBOT agricultural markets which normally open at 9:30 a.m. will open instead at 9:31 a.m. (Central Time).  For agricultural futures that are traded side-by-side on the open auction and electronic (e-cbot^Ò) platforms, the 9:31 a.m. open will apply to both open auction and e-cbot trading.
