As previously announced, the Board of Directors has approved the following with respect to the temporary permit privileges of CBOT mini-sized Contract Permit Holders in Rough Rice futures and options:

-   Extended the privileges for one additional year, through December 31, 2007; and

-   Expanded the privileges to include e-cbot^® (electronic), as well as open auction, trading.  Beginning July 1, 2006, these Permit Holders will have e-cbot trading eligibility in Rough Rice futures and options at a transaction fee rate of $0.25.
