Singapore Business Awards pay tribute to Singapore's leading businessmen and corporate executives

Singapore, 31 May 2010 – Prominent property developer Mr Zhong Sheng Jian, Chairman and CEO of Yanlord Land Group, clinched the Businessman of the Year award at this year’s Singapore Business Awards (SBA), which marked the 25th anniversary of the awards.


The SBA is jointly organised by The Business Times, Singapore’s leading business daily, and DHL Express Singapore, the world’s leading express and logistics company.


Established in 1985 with the Businessman of the Year award, the SBA added the Enterprise Award, the Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year Award and the Outstanding Chief/Senior Executive (Overseas) of the Year Award. These awards have grown in stature and are recognised as Singapore’s most prestigious business accolades.


The awards were presented this evening by Mr Teo Chee Hean, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence, who was the Guest-of-Honour at the SBA 2010 presentation dinner held at the West Ballroom of Resorts World Convention Centre.
