New York, N.Y., November 17, 2005 -- The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced that it will reduce the spot month position limit for its copper futures contract to 250 contracts from 500 contracts, effective at the close of business on November 29, beginning with the December 2005 contract.
