On another quiet day for scheduled US economic events, the weekly ADP employment update is due at 8:15 am ET Tuesday, and the monthly New York Fed Empire manufacturing report is scheduled for release at 8:30 am ET. For Empire the Econoday consensus looks for a moderately positive 14.1 manufacturing index in September versus 20.6 in August and 15.6 in July.
