Highlights
US ADP weekly employment report coming up at 8:15 am ET. It follows an altogether surprisingly weak monthly reading from ADP showing only 44,000 jobs added during all of July. Also due at 10 am ET is the monthly existing home sales report from the National Association of Realtors. Expectations call for another sluggish report with sales at 4.05 million unit rate in July, down from 4.09 million in June.
Meanwhile, oil futures prices rising though bond yields mixed after Monday's gains as hopes fade again for progress in reopening the Strait of Hormuz.
