Late in the day, after the US close, we get a batch of Federal Reserve speakers, Lisa Cook at 4 pm ET, Stephen Miran at 6:30 pm ET, Philip Jefferson at 7 pm ET, and Michael Barr at 7 pm ET. Miran's comments are predictably dovish. The others will be more interesting given the uncertain circumstances.
Oil prices are back up big today after more negative rhetoric coming from the Iranian side disputing President Trump's claim that negotiations are under way.
