The dollar and oil prices rose.
Bullish comments from Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on the strength of AI business fueled an early rally in chipmakers and tech. Other sectors joined in as the day progressed with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq setting new record highs again.
Best sectors included technology, consumer discretionary, utilities and industrials. Lagging were financials, consumer staples, energy, and real estate.
