Trading Simulator Overview
The Trading Simulator is a risk-free environment for practicing futures and options trading. It offers a default workspace with key widgets like featured products, chart, price ladder, commentary and economic events, which can be customized to create up to 10 personal workspaces.
Key features
- 1-click trading: Enables instant trade execution without confirmation windows. To turn on 1-click trading in the Simulator, click the toggle button next to your username.
- Markets tab: Explore various asset classes (Equity Index, Energy, Metals, etc.) and sort contracts by volume, price change or alphabetical order.
- Watchlist: Track your favorite products, create custom watchlists and trade directly from the watchlist.
- Charting tools: Visualize market data with indicators like moving averages, Bollinger bands and Relative Strength Index (RSI) to identify trends and signals. Use the Save feature to view your most frequently used indicators.
- Price ladder (depth of market): Displays bid and ask prices to understand market liquidity and depth of market (up to 10 levels).
Trading Functionality
- Order tickets: Place trades with precision using market, limit, stop and stop limit orders for both futures and options.
- Options grid: Navigate complex options strategies with a comprehensive view of strike prices and expiration dates.
- Trade log: Provides a record of executed trades, giving Simulator users insights into their trading performance.
