State of the carbon offset market
For too long, companies and individuals around the world have desired a solution to disparate carbon pricing and standards. The uniqueness and regional nature of emissions trading schemes and carbon offset projects have prevented harmonization between programs, and ultimately, the development of a standardized price. It is a difficult task to mitigate climate risk without a universal benchmark, which has proven elusive, until now.
