Volume and Open Interest Date Stamp
Daily Volume and Open Interest data is released at the end of each trading day and is a preliminary report. CME Group releases official data the following morning. Preliminary reports may be different from the final report.
New Product
Products are classified as “New” for two weeks before they launch and for two weeks after
Product Slate Data
Clearing - the product code on CME Clearing to monitor and process its trades
Globex - the product is traded on Globex under the symbol provided
Floor - also known as Open Outcry, the product is traded on the floor under the symbol provided
ClearPort - the product is traded on CME ClearPort under the symbol provided
Product Name - the CME Group product name
Product Group - the asset class of the product
Subgroup - grouping under asset class
Category -
Subcategory -
Cleared As - whether the product is a Cleared Forward, Cleared Swap, Future or Options
Exchange - where the product is traded: CBOT, CME, COMEX, KCBT, NMYEX
Volume - summarizes exchange-wide volume, including futures and options volume, for Globex, ClearPort/PNT and Open Outcry. Volume figures are reported across divisions and asset classes to give you an instant grasp of market activity.
Open Interest - is inclusive of all venues (ClearPort, Globex, and Open Outcry).
