Please Note Updates to Exchange Holiday Trading Hours

December 23
NYMEX floor trading will close at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (ET); COMEX floor trading will close one hour prior to each commodity's regular closing time. CME Globex and CME ClearPort are unaffected and will run on a normal schedule.

December 24
CME Group Holiday – Christmas Day Observed
CME Globex and the NY Trading Floor are closed for the holiday. CME ClearPort will close at 8:00 a.m. and will re-open Sunday at 6:00 p.m. ET for the next day's trade date.

December 31
CME Globex will close early at 4:15 p.m. ET. The NY trading floor and CME ClearPort are unaffected and will run on a normal schedule.

E-micro Gold Futures Volume Sets Fresh Record

E-micro gold futures achieved a record volume of 1194 contracts on Dec. 10, 2010. This surpasses the previous record of 836 contracts reached earlier in the week on Dec. 7, 2010.
