Weekly Options on U.S. Treasury Futures
2-Year, 5-Year, 10-Year, T-Bond and Ultra T-Bond Weekly Options

Expanding the Range of Standardized, Short-Dated Options

The addition of Weekly Options on U.S. Treasury futures means that there will be an option expiring every Friday in benchmark Treasury products. This enables targeted trading based on market movements or events occurring in specific time frames.

Weekly Treasury Options:

  • Complement the standard options and the Flexible Options on U.S. Treasury futures
  • Provide users with increased flexibility in managing existing option positions
  • Offer new opportunities to trade high impact economic events such as Treasury auctions and economic reports

Features:

  • Expire every Friday that is not already a quarterly or serial Treasury option expiration
  • Exercise into the next quarterly futures expiry
  • Same strike price intervals and minimum tick sizes as the serial and quarterly options
  • Trade via open outcry and electronically on CME Globex
  • New weekly option listed the business day following an expiration
