The FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index is comprised of 25 of the largest, most liquid Chinese stocks listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX) and available to investors worldwide. The Index contains H shares of companies incorporated in China as well as Red Chip shares of companies incorporated in Hong Kong that have the majority of their business in China. Both types of shares are listed and traded in Hong Kong. The Index components are reviewed quarterly. The index is free float-adjusted and modified market cap-weighted, with individual component weightings capped on a declining basis and the top position capped at 10 percent.
