Contract Unit On expiration day, a long call option will be financially settled by adding the settlement price for the same delivery month of European Gasoil (ICE) Swap Futures less the strike price multiplied by 1,000 metric tons, or zero, whichever is greater. A long put will be financially settled by subtracting the settlement price from the strike price for the same delivery month of European Gasoil (ICE) Swap Futures multiplied by 1,000 metric tons, or zero, whichever is greater.
Price Quotation U.S. dollars and cents per metric ton.
Option Style Average Price – non-early exercisable option
Minimum Fluctuation $0.001 per metric ton
Expiration of Trading Trading ends on the last business day of the contract month.
Listed Contracts CME ClearPort and Open Outcry: The balance of the current calendar year plus each calendar month for the following two years.
CME Globex: 0 consecutive months
Strike Prices Twenty strike prices in increments of $.50 per metric ton above and below at the money strike price. Strike price boundaries are adjusted according to futures price movements.
