Last Trading Day For the February-2012 contract month only, trading shall cease on Friday, January 6, 2012, in line with the change in Platts cash Brent assessment methodology from 21-days to 25-days forward. Effective from March-2012 through February-2015 contract months, trading shall cease on: (i) Either the business day preceding the 25th calendar day prior to the first day of the contract month, if such 25th calendar day is a banking day in London, or (ii) If such 25th calendar day is not a banking day in London, trading shall cease on the second business day preceding the 25th calendar day prior to the first day of the contract month. Effective starting with March-2015 contract month and beyond, trading shall cease on the last business day of the second month preceding the contract month, except for the business day preceding New Year's Day, then trading shall cease on the second business day preceding New Year's Day.
Floating Price The final settlement price on the last day of trading will be based on the Platts Brent 25-day cash forward market assessment (aka Platts BFOE) at the London close, using the Platts Market on Close (MOC) methodology. Daily mark to market assessments will be based on the ICE Brent futures contract.
Listed Contracts The current year plus the next 5 years, and the June and Dec contracts for the next 3 years.
