To get started clearing OTC CDS at CME Group, establish a relationship with a participating CME CDS Clearing Member:

  • Establish clearing account(s)
    • New customers will register their firm online via the CME Exchange User License Agreement (EULA), which may be found at: http://www.cmegroup.com/clearport/registration.html
    • Once registered, new and existing customers will work directly with their clearing member(s) to complete the setup for new/additional clearing account(s)
  • Begin clearing trades
