Mini-sized Soybean
Mini-sized Soybean futures provide a way to:
- Enable small to medium size soybean merchandisers, producers, processors and other commercial users to effectively manage price risk
- Trade to hedge or speculate based on expectations of soybean price movement or soybean price relationship changes on a smaller scale
- Trade in liquid markets with dedicated market makers streaming continuous live bid/offer quotes
Things to Know:
- Mini-sized Soybean futures are a dollar denominated physical delivery 1,000 bushel (approx. 27 metric tons) contract
- Mini-sized Soybean futures are available for trading over 15 hours per day providing customers access regardless of their time zone
- Mini-sized Soybean futures are available electronically on the CME Globex during the Asian and European daytime market hours as well as during the primary U.S. grain trading hours side-by-side with the trading floor
