Process Security Definition Reject
NOT select the "START TEST"
button once the test process is in progress.
- Process a Security Definition Reject Message:
- Click the
START TEST button to begin the certification test for
- In step 1 on the AutoCert+
screen, you must send a Security Definition Request to create a UDS instrument
(Covered or Combo).
- Upon receipt
of the Security Definition Request, AutoCert+ displays a status of “Pending”
[Yellow] until step 2 on the AutoCert+ screen is completed.
- AutoCert+ intercepts
the Security Definition Request message and modifies one of the legs (tag
620 - LegSecurityDesc) with a contract that does not exist before sending
it to the engine.
- AutoCert+ receives and
processes a Security Definition Reject message in response to the Security
- AutoCert+ changes
the modified leg back to its original value (value sent by the customer)
before sending the reject to the customer.
- AutoCert+ displays
a status of “Pending” [Yellow] until step 2 on the AutoCert+ step is completed.
- In step 2 on the AutoCert+
screen, you must confirm successful receipt and processing of the Security
Definition Reject message.
- AutoCert+ prompts
the customer to confirm successful receipt and processing of the Security
Definition Reject message by selecting the Yes
or No option.
- If you answered
Yes, AutoCert+ displays a status of "Completed" [Green] for
steps 1 and 2 on the AutoCert+ screen.
