Wireless Infrastructure - CWI

CME Group offers connections to a Common Wireless Infrastructure (CWI-MF) on the trading floors to facilitate the use of wireless local area networks (LAN) by all market participants. The CWI was designed to alleviate the need for each interested member firm to design, purchase, install and maintain its own wireless network antennas on the trading floors as well as to significantly increase the number of wireless devices that could be used by the trading floor community.

Common Wireless Infrastructure-Member Firms (CWI-MF)

  • Connect wireless to ISV of your choice
  • Wireless access to firm cabinet in interstitial
  • Up to one Mb of bandwidth on our new 802.11 N network

Additional information and applications are available at the Technology Support desk on the trading floor at 141 W. Jackson, just east of the out-trade area.
