The CME Group, Inc. Exchanges are participating in an online global survey being conducted by the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ (IOSCO) subcommittee on commodity storage. IOSCO members are completing the survey and eliciting responses to a questionnaire from relevant firms and commodity derivatives markets. The survey focuses on price formation in physical delivery derivatives and the storage infrastructure for deliverable commodities.
The CME Group, Inc. Exchanges have been asked by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to share the survey with market participants and storage operators approved for participation in the delivery process for the CME Group, Inc. Exchanges’ futures contracts. This Special Executive Report is being issued in order to share the notice and solicit the participation of interested firms on a comprehensive and impartial basis. The online-only survey is open to all interested market participants and service providers. The survey and response process is directly administered by IOSCO.
