Effective Sunday, October 19, 2014 for trade date Monday, October 20, 2014, and pending all relevant CFTC regulatory review periods, the New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. (NYMEX or Exchange) will expand its contract month listing rule for the U.S. Midwest Domestic Hot Rolled Coil Steel (CRU) Index futures contract (chapter 920, commodity code HR; CME Globex code: HRC) on CME Globex and for submission for clearing through CME ClearPort.
Currently, the U.S. Midwest Domestic Hot Rolled Coil Steel (CRU) Index futures contract is listed for 24 consecutive months. The expanded listing schedule will permit trading to be conducted in the current calendar year and the next two (2) calendar years. Following the expiry of the December contract month, a new calendar year will be listed.
