In response to customer feedback, effective this Sunday, August 8, 2010 (trade date Monday, August 9), options on the Wheat-Corn Intercommodity Calendar Spread (ICSO) will be listed for trading on CME Globex and Open Outcry. These options replace the Corn-Wheat ICSOs, which was originally listed and launched July 25, 2010 with an underlying synthetic future configured to price Corn less Wheat, which resulted in negative strike prices. The Wheat-Corn (ICSO) are being re-launched with the same product codes, but with the synthetic rebuilt using Wheat less Corn formula, which will result in positive strike prices as long as Wheat trades at a higher prevailing price to Corn.
