|CME Group Market Data Policy Update|
CME Group requires that all use of market data be licensed and reported. This includes, but is not limited to, trading applications, analytic tools and automated systems. A brief overview of CME Group Market Data licensing and reporting policy obligations can be found at www.cmegroup.com/marketdatapolicy.
As part of our previously announced program to more diligently enforce required licensing and reporting obligations and to ensure continued compliance with all policies, CME Group is introducing a new streamlined and easy to implement Market Data License Agreement (MDLA) which:
Any entity connecting to CME Group for market data and/or distributing market data is required to sign the MDLA and comply with all reporting requirements by September 1, 2010. The MDLA is available now at www.cmegroup.com/mdla.
Those entities not in compliance by this date will forfeit any fee waiver for which they are eligible and will be subject to all applicable license fees.
