UPDATE #2 – Rule Changes and Sequestration Statement Details Published
Audit Information Bulletin #10-07 was published on July 16. This advisory details CME rule changes which have been approved by CME’s Clearing House Risk Committee for the cleared OTC derivatives account class and which will be effective upon CME’s implementation of this class. To clearly distinguish it from both Segregated or Secured Part 30.7 customer protection rules, the new account class has been titled “Sequestered”. The bulletin contains the full text of the rules and describes the daily Sequestration Statement which FCM’s must prepare.
