In the interest of providing a common regulatory framework for market users, CME Group has harmonized, to the extent possible, the CME and CBOT Rulebooks. Please review the "CME and CBOT Rulebook Harmonization" memorandum memorandum which provides an overview of the harmonization project, the general timeline for implementation of the rule changes and a chapter-by-chapter description of the most significant changes being made to the rules. The initial group of changes became effective on November 29, 2007.

In connection with the initial implementation of the harmonized CME and CBOT Rulebooks on November 29, 2007, Market Regulation has issued several new Market Regulation Advisory Notices which appear below. The Advisory Numbers for CBOT-only Notices will begin with CBOT and end in -1, CME-only Notices will begin with CME and end in -2 and Joint CME and CBOT Notices will begin with CME & CBOT and end in -3.
