• Amendments to Block Trade Minimum Quantity Thresholds for CBOT Soybean Oil Weekly Options Contracts

    • Effective Monday, January 22, 2018 for trade date Tuesday, January 23, 2018, and pending all relevant CFTC regulatory review periods, The Board of Trade of the City of Chicago, Inc. (“CBOT” or the “Exchange”), will amend the Soybean Oil Weekly options contracts block trade minimum quantity thresholds from 100 contracts during Regular Trading Hours (“RTH”) and 50 contracts during European Trading Hours (“ETH”) and Asian Trading Hours (“ATH”) to 150 contracts during RTH and 75 contracts during ETH and ATH.  The amendments harmonize the Soybean Oil weekly contracts block trade minimum thresholds with the monthly Soybean Oil options contracts.
