22nd Risk Management Conference March 5-8, 2006

Tue Jan 10 2006

The 22nd Annual Risk Management Conference will be held March 5-8, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs, Florida.  The Risk Management Conference is jointly hosted by the Chicago Board of Trade, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and OneChicago, and has become a leading industry event.

The Risk Management Conference is an educational forum where end users of derivatives discuss the policies, tools, and systems they use to manage risk exposures and enhance yields.  It also provides an ideal setting for users and prospective users of exchange-traded derivatives to network with their peers in an informal environment. Whether you’re interested in learning the latest risk management techniques or simply mastering the fundamentals, the Risk Management Conference will be a valuable experience for you.

This year's program features keynote speaker Robert Hormats presenting: "Risks and Opportunities in the Global Economy in 2006" as well as break out sessions ranging from "The Latest Developments in the Currency Overlay Space," to "Turning Risk into Opportunity: Analyzing and Managing Portfolio Risk," to "Cross-Asset Volatility and Derivative Trading."  Not to miss is “Special Session: Facing the Future of Institutional Investment Management.” Moderated by Michael Clowes, Editorial Director of Pension & Investments, a panel of end-users addresses the challenges of managing their portfolios and the role that derivatives play.
